The first event of the 2024-2025 term was a panel discussion, “Reflections on the C.D. Cal. Patent Program and What Lies Ahead,” to discuss the end of the Patent Pilot program in the Central District of California. We were graciously hosted by Gibson, Dunn, & Crutcher LLP and honored to be joined by three jurists from the Central District of California: The Honorable André Birotte Jr., The Honorable Wesley L. Hsu, and The Honorable Michael R. Wilner. Katy Carlyle, the last serving patent pilot clerk for the Central District, moderated. We thank everyone who attended and participated in the lively discussion.
